Meet Phil

It’s no surprise to anyone who knows Phil Weston that he dreamed up Growing STEMs Hawaii—a joyful blend of science, math, art, movement, and play, all wrapped in giggles and curiosity. His mission? To help little learners experience the magic of learning while soaking in the simple joys of just being little.

Phil studied Engineering at the University of San Diego but quickly discovered his true calling: guiding preschool keiki as they explore their big, bright worlds. With over 10 years of experience, a teaching credential, and certifications in Early Childhood Education and CPR/First Aid/AED, he brings both heart and know-how to every class.

Phil’s passion lies in planting seeds—of empathy, curiosity, creativity, and wonder. Whether your child is a budding artist, scientist, environmentalist, or just loves to splash in puddles, Phil is here to help them grow with confidence, joy, and plenty of play.
